MORE GOOD THINGS COMING May 9, 2014
THEY ARE COMING HOME WE HOPE!!!
Well the word out of Washington is that the troops in Afghanistan are coming home, so we hope and pray that they in fact do come home soon and lets heal our vets who need healing from PT SD and other problems created by the evil forces of the world!
We at the many service organizations are in fact gearing up to welcome them home with open arms, are you? I will be talking about this on my radio show and hopefully by the time I begin my television show "Veterans Show Case" I hope we can have a lot of people supporting our groups efforts to help them.
The group I am referring to is the "East County Veterans Resource Center on the corner of 2nd and "L" street, and our friends at Delta Veterans Group will be there to help them as well as other organizations my radio show is at http://www,blogtalkradio.com/jimfridas so I hope you will join us and wish our troops a truly fantastic welcome home when it happens!
There is a food give away so watch for the upcoming events, in addition we will have more information on the car show this May. Remember every Monday there is a food give-a-way at the East County Veterans resource center in Contra Costa County Calfornia. If you know f other Veteran programs let me know so I may post it!
There is a scheduked car show coming in May of this yera waiting for confirmed times and dates for this event that is hopefully going to be near the "L" Street boat launch which has a lot of parking and plenty of room for this event, more details to follow so keep an eye out for updates.
